Devin & Joseph were married this past June 2019 at the Park Chateau in New Jersey.  Driving up to the Park Chateau is amazing - it's like the Taj Mahal/Disney World/Buckingham Palace of wedding venues and a lucky bride and groom have it all to themselves.

New York Historical Society Wedding : Elizabeth & David : New York, NY

There's an amazing feeling having a wedding in a museum - the kind of space that is open to the public all day but suddenly is all yours.  The New York Historical Society was just that for Elizabeth & David on a sunny July afternoon on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

Sunset Terrace Wedding : Nikki & Thomas : New York, NY

I love Sunset Terrace at Chelsea Piers.  With that wall of windows facing the water it brings the indoors and outdoors together as one.  Nikki & Thomas got ready at the Highline Hotel just a stone's throw from their venue making for some great opportunities to grab some photos on the street before heading upstairs for their ceremony.  With their modern A frame ceremony setting, it set the stage for an amazing night with their friends and family.

Brooklyn Botanic Wedding : Palm House : Brooklyn, NY

Scoring a wedding date at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens coinciding with the cherry blossom bloom period takes some serious planning!  Margaretta & Jeff nailed it with a beautiful Spring wedding starting with getting ready at the always stunning 1Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and photos in Brooklyn Bridge Park.  A wedding filled with such joy and a gorgeous venue literally photographs itself!

Inn at Longshore Wedding : Connecticut : Westport, CT

Ilana & Danny were married at the Inn at Longshore in Westport, CT in October.
One of the staples of my venue lineups every year is the waterfront club in Connecticut.  The Inn at Longshore sits right on the water with New York City in the distance and sweeping views of the sound with a beach right out front.  For a mid October wedding, the hope is that you could still have an outdoor ceremony but on this particular day the wind was howling and it was downright frigid!  That didn't stop Ilana from shedding the jacket and going with it which I so appreciated.  You'll see, Ilana & Danny are a fun couple that go with the flow and know how to have a great time.  The photos literally take themselves!   Also, I'd already photographed Ilana's sister Dara's wedding earlier the same year so there were so many familiar faces right off the bat.
After coming back inside to thaw, it was time to prepare for their Jewish wedding ceremony beginning with the signing of the ketubah.  A beautiful ritual where the bride & groom are surrounded by their parents and sign a sacred document, they are in fact officially married before what we all think of as the ceremony is underway.
With guests arriving, the sun really began to stream in casting a warm glow over the ceremony.  Despite being inside, it was still a beautiful and fortunately warm moment.  After everyone cleared out, the staff of The Inn were busy flipping the space for the reception as Flowers by Danielle accented the space with gorgeous florals.
